Sculptures

I’ve found a few Korean sculptors lately with phenomenal artworks that I’d love to see in real life. Unfortunately it’s the kind of stuff that one just doesn’t see around Cape Town. One such body of work is by Park Chan-girl who creates sculptures out of thin sheets of metal that he forms into 3D topographical forms. He also welds steel nuts into human and animal forms with intricate textures and depth. I really envy people who are able to see ordinary materials and have the skill to transform them into such beautiful creations. (via thisiscolossal)
